I've been trying to get a stable server up for a long time, and now for over $100 a month I finally have a host. The rates are 3x Base EXP, 3x Job EXP, 2.5x Drops, and 3.5x Card Drops because I believe low rate servers build the best communities and have the most fun. The host has 1 GB of RAM and a 100MB/s connection, so it can support alot of players, and thats what we are hoping to do.
Now regarding the "Rebirth System" where you go to level 99, reset as the "High" classes and then get to the new advancements, on Nightshade RO this system has been thrown out Instead, once you reach job level 50 of 2nd class, you can change into the advancements. I find that this makes the new sprites and skills much more of a realistic goal for most players, so that everyone can work hard and still enjoy them, without having to play for months.
Regarding the "Player Dungeon", Louyang does not have official monsters yet, so NightshadeRO decided to make it full of Computer controlled Players. For example a looting passive monster that looks like a Novice with about 100 hp. In the last floor of the dungeon there is also a "Player MVP" which is a boss-like player.
Other Server Extras:
Warp NPCs - In every town and dungeon to take you places.
Reset NPC - Allows you to change your build and test others for a large fee.
Platinum Skill NPC - Gives you the Quest Skills, so that you do not need to complete the quests to get them.
Dye NPC - Allows you to dye your hair any of the 8 colours, and your clothes any of the 77 (!) colours for free.
