in response to kyatto, if you are looking at speed, go with intel. i am a computer technician and i can tell you this (no offence to you kyatto, im just giving my opinion), intel and amd processors are basically the same for performance once you look at all the pro's and con's. but amd does use less power and generates less heat, but intel is the only one that supports ddr2 ram, which is twice as fast as ddr, so if you went with the intel, your comp would be a little warmer but not that much, and it would also be faster because of the ram... i would highly suggest the intel one i mentioned above... its very hard to choose between amd and intel because they are so close, like intel has higher l2 cache and overall speed, but amd has wide front side bus which allows about the same amount of info thru... so top of the line intel vs top of the line amd, not much difference, which is why i chose intel because of the ddr2 memory support. i hope that helps you...
