Here r some tips for de-cluttering ur desktop:
-try creating hidable toolbars and put ur most used shortcuts on the the task bar
-use keyboard shortcuts for programs
-tidy groups of clutter into folders
-increase resolution/decrease icon size
-use that thing called "recycle bin"!!!
-try replacing shortcuts for cd programs with a CD drive shorcut
-make use of the start menu
-group similar icons like system, Game shortcuts, Entertainment (keep them spaced appart to make it easeir to find things)
-if u get an icon rearranging problem (usually due to a full screen program operating in a lower resolution than ur desktop) there is a free program called pinstrip which can remember icon placement (no desktop files can have the same name tho).
