Team in Training for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
I joined TNT last year to raise money for this little guy:

Well, unfortunatly I didn't raise enough to do the marathon, so this year I am going to post a thread here for support.
If you would Like to donate anything for tnt ask me,
also there is an online way to do it, I just need to get the link, so I'll just post this now to give anyone who would like to help a chance to think it over.
I have to raise 2100$ by december(The money go's to fund our honoree to "get better cells"(Ill get video for you guys too) and to find a cure for leukemia and lymphoma).
Any donation will help and the Money is TAX Deductable.
Ill get some pictures and footage of honorees for you guys too.
Also, if anyone would like some info on TNT in your area just ask me.

Yeah, my coach is supposed to set up an account on Active.com for online donations.
We meet on saturadays for the long run so I guess Ill check on my registration status and update you then.
I have decided to attempt to get 10 dollars donated/earned from various people/fundraisers. If I can get 200 people/fundraisers at 10 dollars a peice I should have enough to meet the minimum standard.
If anyone would want to help with that, I would be more than happy to add your name or the name of a loved one to my TNT wristband.
In the mean time, if anyone is interested in running, walking or tri, you can check out Active.com, they list all marathons, rides, and triathalons. They also have info on TNT.
I am doing CIM in Sacremento; Runners only marathon; no half or walk; In December.

Re: Team in Training for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Good News! TJ(Shown Above in pic) just finished his last chemo!
I also discovered we have two other honorees, 1 is a girl about the same age as TJ. Her name is Vanessa Miller, and she also has leukemia. I still haven't gotten the name of our third honoree.
OK guys, The South Valley Run/Walk Manager said I'm getting a registration at active.com so people can give online donations.
Right now, if you want to check out what we are all about you can check out
http://www.teamintraining.org/hm_tnt
If you scroll down to fundraising the last on the list to the left says "Donate to Central California Participants", which will take you to this page. http://www.active.com/donations/camp...fm?key=tntccal
I am not on the dropdown list yet so you can donate to the fund yet, but if anyone even has the slightest interest in helping out please reply and tell me you would like to help and I can answer any questions and keep you updated.

Re: Team in Training for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Yes, I know I have an honoree update thread, but I felt it would be appropriate to put this update here, seeing as it his final update and his picture is already in this thread:
Hello Fellow TNT members,
As most of you know, TJ Wallace (Leukemia Survivor!!!) served as an honoree last season with TNT Central California. He had a great time and is excited to be an honoree this season. I am so excited and relieved that we have made it this far. It truly has been an amazing three years. Thank you so much for running in honor of his life. Another event TJ has participated in on an annual basis since diagnosis is the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. He absolutely LOVES it when he takes the track in his survivor shirt and walks the "survivor" lap for the opening ceremony of relay for life. He has such a blast. I have a blast watching him of course, and am reminded each year how grateful I am that he is alive. I am thankful for the charitable organizations that provide hope for those affected by cancer. I will be participating in the relay for life this year in memory of Reid Goldenstein, the husband of one of our very own TNT members. She runs in honor of TJ, and I will be taking the track for an hour on September 24 to run in memory of Reid. Much like the LLS, the ACS relys on sponsorship donations for each team member as a method of fundrasing. I thought it would be a great idea to participate in this fundraising effort, but have obviously exhausted my resources for donations for LLS. If anyone is interested in making a small donation to ACS, please visit my website and follow the simple instructions. You can donate at www.acsevents.org/relay/ca/visalia. Choose donate to a participant on the left side of the screen. Thank you!!!!
In TJ's honor and memory of Reid,
Michelle Wallace

Re: Team in Training for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Well, I sent out my letters and have gotten about three hundred in checks for the LLS, but thats a long way to go. I also have roll over from last season(I was supposed to raise 2400 but I only got 500 so I couldn't recommit but they held on to the 500 to be used for our new honorees so I could get a small headstart on funds). I just hope I can raise more than last time... Otherwise it will take me 4 years to raise what the others raise in 1 season... lol
Im gonna have to think of another fundraising idea if I can't get sponsorship.
Anyone got any Ideas? I still got about 1300 to raise.

Re: Team in Training for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Hey guys, sorry I forgot to post updates.
My dad has devoted his first earnings this year to help me reach my minimum,
he is on the cycle team and he is a mentor so he gets 40% off of his minimum which is 3900$(minus 40%).
I have raised(With rollover from last season) about 1000 dollars and my minimum is 2100. although Im not a mentor so I have to raise the entire minimum.
My dad says he is going to pay off what ever he doesn't raise since he is helping me, but I would rather raise it on my own so he oesn't have to help me, if anyone could help, even 5$ would help, it would be much appreciated.
Wait/// Here is the page for donations: http://www.active.com/donate/tntccal/tntccalSHilver
