CD-ROM Drive help...
Okay, I need some CD-ROM drive help, and I wasent sure where to put it. Since it revolved around PC games, I decided to put it here.
Okay, heres the question: My CD-ROM drive wont do anything anymore. Ever since I tried installing Tachyon: The Fringe, and then unistalling it when I realized my computer was too crappy to play it, my CD-ROM drive has just sat there. Put a CD in, nothing happens. Put a CD-ROM in, nothing happens. Hell, I could probably put in a Pancake in and nothing would happen. I havent played a CD-ROM game on the PC for over half a year! IM TIRED OF THIS! Can you tech experts here help me, or do I just need to buy a new CD-ROM Drive...and a new video card, proccesor, sound card, and other game oodles?

I had this problem with my old computer, I think it is probably cause the laser is blocked, with dust etc etc, so you if you want to fix it you have to open up your computer, open up the CD-Rom drive, and whip the laser with a tissue or something.
Otherwise your just going to have to buy a new CD-Rom Drive

You don't need to auto run, it will, once you put the c.d cleaner in which i have and it has little brushes on it and it will spin and then the c.d rom will read it. Even ask moncojhr i lent it to him and that's how he got the internet because it couldn't read the internet c.d before so look in the shops for a c.d laser lens cleaner and buy it, and use it otherwise stuff it, and get a whole new c.d rom.

Yes only I am more mature
And being younger doesn't mean a thing, I have seen more immature 18 year olds.
