World of Warcraft
Anyone Exited about this game?
I think its gonna be the biggest MMORPG(Massive multiplayer online RPG) Ever and is gonna wipe off all the others. Its simply gonna be massive and is going to be so rich in storyline and playability.
Its made by blizzard so its realy prommising aswell.
I'm just so annoyed it isnt out forsuch a long time as this is the game im looking forward to more than anything.

BUT JUNE 2004 ?!!! thats more than torture !!!!!
arghhh. I have warcraft 3 its great game but im not too bigger fan of strategy games... but an mmorpg designed by blizzard will simply be amazing!

Has anyone here played Diablo2 cus i think that's great and if you have it or know about it is world of warcraft supposed to be like that as in it's not strategy like the rest?

Yes its basicly like an online adventure game a bit like diablo but with SO much more to do and ALOT more choice in Class and Race etc.
It will be like 3rd person view and you can run around in groups with other players (online) and kill things around the land. there will also be huge boss's that can only be beaten by like lots of players all in a group.
There will also be different lands with different races that are all against each other. Like if you deside to be a human you will be against orcs and elves and there will be huge wars set between all the races.
It will be alot like Dialo but completly 3D and there will be alot more going on. It wont be as easy to understand and get used to as diablo 2.
Talking about this game is TORTURE !!!
Expect ALOT from this game.
There will also be alot of updates and events run by blizzard unlike games such as diablo had. There will constantly be patches released for it. This is why it costs somthing like 6 pounds a month to have this game. Expect this game to wipe every other MMORPG off the market.
If anyone needs anymore info such as races etc just ask

You guys will probably disagree with me, but I miss the old Warcraft II version. I haven't played it in a long time simply because it doesn't run on my current PCs. Even my "test pc" which is the slowest is far too fast for screen scrolling and none of my PCs have a sound card that works with it. I have Warcraft 3 but I really don't enjoy the graphics like I did the old one because there are too many background images that look similar in size and color to actual objects in the game. War3 is also a darker display making it harder to see as well.
Anyone else miss the older version?

I quit MMORPG's here is my MMORPG biography
Ultima Online - played from beta, about 5.5. yrs total
Dark Age of Camelot - played 6 months
Everquest - 2 months
Star Wars Galaxies - 2 weeks
I have sworn off MMORPG's, good luck with this one guys ;)

I miss the older Warcraft II myself. It won't run on anything I have now :-(
Too many games nowadays are too dark and too many objects look just like background items.

Ok so I hate to admit this, but I have never played a MMORPG. Do you have to spend your whole life playing one to be any good at them? And are there any that are free that are any good? I am just very against paying a monthly fee to play a game.
