I have been having a big problem with my games not loading and saying that brand new games are dirty and or damaged so I was wondering about what I heard about if you get a DVD lens cleaner and put it inside your xbox it will make it run better and I was wondering if anyone knows if this is true or if they have a special lens cleaner for the Xbox because I really dont wanna send it in to get fixed.

This hasn't happened to me =/. I think u should send it in and not take the risk of breaking it more.

hmm its kinda weird though Halo 2 works fine but its just other games thats whats weird ... thanks though now I know its not just me.

Weird, I only have problems with my Halo 2 disc, I'll be playing and all of a sudden my Xbox will start making weird noises and I will fail to load the map.....

sorry if my spelling is wrong, I just woke up and everything is blurry...

I don't mean to say something bad, but I shall just say this: only the GameCube is glitch-free.

Anyways, all console-wars aside, the Xbox looks like a major dust-collector to me, though probably not as bad as the PS2. Just like with any computer, you should open up the box now and then and dust it out with a can of pressurized air.

Of course, you could just go purchase one of those CD cleaner thingies, that's basically a CD with brushes on it, but I don't trust those. I'd think those would make it worse by scratching the lens. You should just open up the box and wipe of the lens and the general CD area.

I found a DVD lense cleaner that says Xbox Compatible on it and it Worked, my Xbox runs like new now ... so for the future if you are having trouble with Ps2 or Xbox a DVD Cleaner might fix it for you

True about the Game Cube not breaking easily because Nintendo has always made a very sturdy system that will last but, Halo 2.
