Hi-
I'm new here, just joined. I found this site searching for help with my hubby's game. He's been playing Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2005 Adventure on PS2. He got to the boat in the Lateral Lodge and got stuck on shore. It won't go forward, backward, nothing, and he can't figure out how to get it loose.
Anyone have a suggestion? It's taken ages for him to get this far, he's pretty frustrated and doesn't want to start over, losing all the stuff he did to get this far.

Sorry i had a look around but there doesn't seem to be many Walkthroughs about. I've never heard of this game lol.

Umm what's a walk through? Sorry, I'm a total newbie here. Not huge into vid games these days, but played plenty of Atari Pitfall in my day. *grin*

Cabelas is an Activision 'value' game. Hunting big game animals, if the title didn't give it away. It's actually pretty cool if you're into hunting, which my hubby is. Decent graphics, realistic without being *too* gory, a plus for us since we have young kids who like to watch him play.

Thanks for answering, anyway. Hopefully someone will have a clue and be able to help with this... I'm thinking it's a new game since it's the 2005 version, so maybe a lot of people haven't seen it. I just grabbed it at Christmas time because I knew hubby would love it.

Got an answer- so I'll share in case anyone else has the same problem:

There is a vehicle reset button that will reset the vehicle to an operable position. Press "L3" (the left thumbstick) to reset the vehicle. If you need anymore help with game controls please refer to the 'Controls' section, in-game, under the Options menu (can be accessed by pressing 'Start' while playing).

It's a good game, IMHO. Pretty sharp graphics, not too gory for those with kids or that don't want bloody games, and challenging, for sure. If you like hunting in 'real life', this is a good game to try. The challenges are realistic and the animal behavior is spookily real.
