Broken Gamecube
My Gamecube will spin up for a few seconds then stop and say "NO DISK". I cleaned hte head but no luck. Anyone have any ideas, other then to shove it up my ***, that won't fix it. How do I take it apart? I can't tell what kind of screws that are holding it together.
Thanks.

Hmm I wouldn't take it apart as it would void your warrenty if you have one.
Check whether Nintendo gives you a warranty or not, either by ringing them up or checking there website.
Although it does sound as though your laser is broken.

good idea.. sticking it up your *** wont do it much good
just go get a replacement from wherever you bought it. and if they say no then stick it up their *** cause most annoying little salesmen like it up the ***

Look Andrew P. and Monocojhr, stop with the gamecube comments, this person actually wants to fix it, not destroy it.

Alright, Alright try shoving it up Fatman's *** (kidding) It might be the game try a different game or get a new GC or even better get a Xbox or PS2 there is nothing wrong with them unless you peg them on the ground

No I think he wants serious advice and I have given it to him.
I've been looking at my Xbox manual and they give you a one year warranty as long as you don't open it.
It voids the warranty. So I'm assuming the Gamecube is the same as long as you brought it within the past year.

woops got carried away there...
i think you should take it back to where you bought it from and have a chat to them
opening the GC will probably result in you being stuck with a broken GC without anyone to fix it or give you a new one for free.

Don't take it apart, if you do, you void the warranty and Nintendo will just say to have a private company fix it for you. Lets say, hypothetically, you did. Your best bet is to send it back to were you bought it (you have to have the receipt), and say the product was defaulty. If you bought it from a small company, i.e. Funcoland, they can be a pain. Because, they don't want to lose money for returns. If that dosen't work just go to a place where they specialize in fixing Nintendo products. Or you could get a refurbished one: ebay.com

don't try taking it apart. If it is still under warranty take it
back and see if they will replace it.
