Im sure we all (when i say all I mean like everyone who has actually played a mmo)have a favorite mmo moment.

For me, SWP intrepid Server:

The sun was just starting to sink below the horizon. Anchorhead was full of overt rebels. Word had just come from our spy in bestine that the Imperials had left bestine. We had men all around the Shuttleport, up on the hill overlooking it and in the town square. Being a Carbineer, I was crouched at about medium range from the shuttleport, looking for cool in my 1337 Bone Armor . Then the Imperials were upon us. At first only a few popped up in front of the shuttleport, caught loading they were cut down easily. But suddenly we had Imperials on the hill overlooking the town. They must have ran from bestine :flowerhat . And more Imps were loading in front of the shuttleport. The battle that insued lasted a good hour, and at first things looked grim for us Rebels. But the battle turne din our favor, due in part to the fact that we had all cloned at the AH cloning center, and the imperials had not. They had only 2 options, spawn in AH and take dmg, or spawn in Bestine but be effectivly removed from the fight. In the end We were victorious, I was busy healing the wounded (medic ^_^) and we celebrated our victoy in the cantina.

Yeah that was fun. If you want, post your most glorious mmo moment. I was hard pressed with my decision, the counterattack on bestine comes in at a very lose 2nd place in my hart.

I guess no one on this forum has a favorite mmo moment. Heres anouther one of mine, this time from Planet Side. Planetside is arguably the best idea Soe has had for a while now. A mmofps? Gasp!

I had only played for a few days. I had specialized in aircraft and heavy weapons. I armed myself with guided missles and picked up a light fighter. The continent I was on was under heavy attack from the enemy. We had lost ground earlier that day, but were now mounting a major counter attack on a couple of our lost bases. The anti air fire was intense, I saw a bomber get shotdown a little to the south of my location. Flying low, just above the canopy,
I managed to sneak round the back of the base without being spotted. I set my ship down on the edge of a lake, near some foliage in hopes that it would be concealed enough that a quick glance wouldnt spot it .Then I set up in a cluster of trees, and started launching rockets into the base. Those maxes never saw what hit them, or if they did they were to damn slow to get out of the way. It took them a good 10 minutes of constant fire for them to realize where I was. I got the first max that spotted me with my last missle, then ran back to my concealed fighter. I can only imagine the look on their faces when I blasted out of there , they tried to fire on me but all their shots were wide. I kept moving, and through my efforts and those of the felow soldiers in my group, we finally regained the base.

Yeah I might just renew my sub in that game, that was damn fun .

another person who plays SWG is here!!! anyways, TODAY was my fav. moment because I hit MCM and I can finnally PVP, see Ive always been low on RAM so I havent been able to pvp due to very bad lag, but tonight im going pvping! BTW my ingame name is Stosse and im a Co-leader of the guild DHARA we recently changed our name from MidCo.. our pvp is small but growing daily... well this is on bria... you are on a differnt server so I guess you dont know of us at all lol, but if you ever want to come to bria drop me a tell anyways, tonight I plan to kill some imps !

Bria is horriable lol, we went to bastion (FoE's city) FoE=Force of the empire about the biggest imp guild and the best, well we went there to go attack thier bases the other night god the lag was crazy we out numbered them like 2 to 1 but all of our forces were moving so slow seeing how we were loading in their city still.. so houses were poping up near us in battle causing major lag they were already loaded in so those with really fast comps could just cut through us... I was taken out trying to apply an area poison and then trying to area heal my group but a jedi ran on me and 2 minutes later it said you have died then I waited 10 minutes for the clone option to come up.... server is very laggy during major pvp lol... kinda sucks anyways we lost because about another 40-60 imps showed up by the time most of us got killed just trying to walk and we decided to try again another night... should be tonight acctully... hopefully we can get one of thier bases
