I heard that there is a Halflife game comming out on x box
is this true when will it be out??

I have heard this too, but I would have thought they would put it on PS2 as Half Life 1 was on PS2.
We Will have to wait and see 8)

Ok before you have a go at me over this post, remember I'm saying this with regards to the PS2 and the GC also.
I think the reasoning why the Xbox is getting HL2 over other consoles is simply down to hardware specs...plus M$ have plenty of money to tempt the developers with. 
If you go to somewhere like Fileplanet.com and download the stunning 600mb video demo of HL2 you will see why.
The sheer physics & graphics of the game is amazing. It is the next big step in PC gaming.
I still don't think the Xbox will be able to fully cope with the new HL2 engine though, because the processir power required to play this game at a decent speed on the PC is going to be near 3ghz. I think the Xbox will get a watered down version myself.
But I'll be getting it when it comes to the PC & Xbox, so rock!.  |

or because microsoft owns xbox, which means xbox are in ways related..... they get alt of the same stuff.....

Yeah but because M$ make the OS doesn't mean they instantly get all game rights which appear on the PC.
If they wave enough money infront of the developers faces, then they get a version of the game for their console.

i think that half life 2 will be better on x box cause of the graphics capabilities.

It certainly won't be a direct port of the PC version because that version is going to need at least a 3ghz CPU and 128mb graphics card to even come close to dealing with the game at high res.
Also it will need a high end CPu for the AI in it, and if anyone has seen the 600mb video demo of HL2 you'll know why.
I don't think I'll be geting this on Xbox now, I'll just upgrade my PC when it's released.

Damn I've just got a new computer and I don't think it will be able to play HL2 at high res.
Anyway recent news says that valve is not putting HL2 on Xbox.
Too Bad.

No they are putting it PC only and from what I've been told like Seteo-Bloke said, the PS2 couldn't handle it anyway due to its graphics being so good.

i saw the preview at fatmans house. it looks to ****ing sick! I want it, i might get a good PC for Xmas and also get HL2, it would be woth it, or i could just wait for fatman to get it lol
