Scary/"Horror" Movies

You know, most movies are more funny than scary. Especially the old ones. Like this one "Night of the living dead" from the 1950's or something.. that was hysterical. =D

Anyone have any decent suggestions? I got over my traumatization that I got from seeing the "Exorcist" in the 5th grade.. and "The Grudge". That movie was cool.

Think "White Noise"ll be any good? I can't wait to check it out.

I'll probably be traumatized from it. Dead people freak me out. Dead people and demons! I really should stop reading stuff revolving around the black arts..

Re: Scary/"Horror" Movies

Hahaha. Japanese and Korean horror movies usually do the best in Singapore. They're usually the same, people with blood stains popping out of nowhere. However I must admit they are rather good, done well...

Re: Scary/"Horror" Movies

The Grudge reeked of rotten fish! Saw was much better! The Exorcist was good also.

My friends and I watch scary movies at night and laugh at them for hours. Most of them are more funny than most comedies.

Re: Scary/"Horror" Movies

Exorcist is hilarious now that I've seen it again. But that movie caused me to sleep with my light on until the middle of eighth grade.. Sadly, that's not even an exaggeration.

I liked the grudge! Maybe only because I got to see it with my boyfriend and used it as an excuse to jump in his lap at every opportunity, but hey!

What about the Bride of Chucky? Doll sex! That was so great..

You think the Bride of Chucky was funny. You should see the Seed of Chucky.

Re: Scary/"Horror" Movies

Being an old school horror flick fan here are some older horror flicks you may enjoy. I will let you know now you have to remember these were scary for the time they were made some are cheesy but still fun horror flicks.

The house on haunted hill (starring vincent price)
The exorcist
The abominable dr. phibes
Theatre of blood
Lucio fulci's zombie

That should get you started, let me know if you need anymore suggestions.
