first of all, the driver series was out b4 the gta series was, and being an undercover cop as a wheelman and a criminal have nothin to do with eachother. and the getaway is far from being like gta, have any of you even played it? if you have you would know what im talkin about. in gta, the main pirk is the insane amout of freedom, where as the getaway has almost none.

errrrrrm no you wrong the first GTA came out on 30th June 1998 And Driver came out 1 year later 30th June 1999

I remeber I was so excited when I first saw Driver. Then when I dound out that I wasn't a criminal, but an under cover cop I was so let down I quit playing it. After playing GTAIII and Vice City, True Crime has been a big let down for me. The characters aren't developed enough, and the fighting wasn't as responsive as I'd hoped. The plot is cool, but I wish I'd bought NFL Street instead. I made a poor choice. Take a long weekend and rent this one, don't buy it.

yeah i thought true crime was a big let down. i took my copy back to the shop and swapped it for the prince of persia instead

I only played the first couple of missions in True Crime. The game seemed like it was too plot-driven and there wasn't enough freedom like you have in Vice City. Sold my copy and bought something else.
