I’m working for a big international game development company and we’re currently trying to find out, what the game of the future should be. And that’s where you come in:

Imagine the following scenario:
It is the year 2014 and broadband internet is everywhere, even wireless devices have broadband! That means you can e.g. stream full quality video from your cell phone to a server or another cell phone.

Question:
How would you desire the game of the future to be, given all the technology of 2014?

Just let your thoughts go wild! We might be able to turn this into a real scenario for you to play in 2014! So help us with your dreams.

The whole world is uncivilized..

but has access and knowledge to use resorces needed for the internet...
but they can't figure out to say, use electricity for anything else but this internet.

And the game would be somewhat more discrete than the sims.

1. Open levels like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
2. A large amount of customizing, cahracters, items, etc...
3. Open ended story, multiple endings?
4. Multiple ways to accomplish goals.
5. Internet connectivity, Multiplayer doesnt have to be tied to main story.
...Maybe I'll think of some more later.

free-mmorpg make your guy make clans go around fighting other clans -_-
swords magic etc....
huge levels lots of fredom 3rd personne and fps (like morrowind)
quests if you want and in making your guy very divert (having lots of choices)
I don't know if ne thing like this exists so I just felt like saying the best game type
