New Comp
Mwhahaha Finally Got A New Computer-
Specs go something along the lines of...
P4 2.8GHz
1GB DDR RAM
80GB 7200rpm HDD
16xDVD Rom
Floppy
48x48x28 CD RW
128mb Geforce 4 MX
56K PCI Modem
K/B+Optical Mouse
Subwoofer
300w ATX Case
10/100 Network Card
and not to mention it cost $1355 AU, convert it yourself
(60 cents AU=$1 US)
Anyway my problem is my monitor is really ghey and dark and needs more Gamma or whatever, anyone got any Suggestions?

i have seen it, it is a great comp apart from the grapihics card.

I fixed up the monitor, now for some reason the downloads are really slow, 2.5kb/s which is really slow

o ****.. maybe the socket is dead (the connection bit)
that happened to me but the BT (britsh telecom) said take the darn thing off and plug it in the whole ya see ... did that and now i connect at 41333 (though it look really bad if the socket is in the main room lol )
(try it ... unscrew that cover and plug the modem thing there.. should connect at a higher rate.) |

o flippin heck thats english...
see that thing where you put the internet cable (the phone jack)
ok there shoul be 2 or more screws.. un screw them and GENTLy pull the cover off.
the u will see some thing where to put that internet cable ... put it in there and connect to the net (try not to pull any of those thin cable because you will need them if you ever put that cover back on)
it should connect at a higher speed/bit rate, etc
comprende?
1) unscrew the cover
2)pull cover off
3) put cable in the hole you will see
4) connect to the net
