[help] How to free up the memory ?

Hi, is there any tips about how to free up the memory for windows xp ? i'm using a centrino 1.5GHz with 256MB of ram

are we talking ram memory...

if so, there's a few things you can do...

-turn off visual effects and the xp look...
-run a spyware/adware scanner to check if you've got any unwanted programs running
-turn off any unneeded services, here's a good guide

-get more ram

Ok I don't want to sound mean, but just buy more RAM. That stuff is cheap as heck. Can get a 512 stick for around $75 for the notebook you are using.
