My best was level 308 it took ages but theres a cheat. You go to the airport next and 1 gye shows up then they just keep coming back in the same place. So you sort of just hover there and fire but i only ever done it once it got boring flying arond in the Hunter.

i just done it near one of those hangers with the planes in it near one of the runways
they just wouldnt stop comming and i just kept shooting until it got too boring.
