News on GT4
This is unconfirmed, but apparently the much anticipated PS2 racer Gran Turismo 4 will feature over 2000 vehicles and, remarkably, as many as 100 race courses. It should also be fully compatible with the PS2 network adapter, and have an online battle mode, allowing up to eight players to battle, and players will be able to communicate using the headset.
To go with this is the first screenshot of Polyphony Digital’s other PS2 racing project, Volkswagen Lupo GTI Cup 2003. Although developed using the GT4 game engine, it’s actually designed specifically as a training game for Lupo GTI drivers, and is not for sale. But it does give us an early idea as to what GT4 could look like.

I'm doubting it will be 2000 cars, I got told GT3 was going to have 200 and its got no where near that. Anyway looks good, Hope they have Ferraris and Porsches in this one.
