Ok so i go to college and i know someone who went here last year and i learned from a friend that, they do not have a firewall up so i am thinking great i won't have to give up gamming. Well guess what they installed a firewall this year to stop Kazaa and all those stupid P2P networks. I have never used them never will all my stuff is legal.
Well all the kids in my dorm are mad that they cannot download free music so they all find some jackass program called hopester or something like that. So they are all still filesharing and i am here playing agianst bots. I HATE THE WORLD!!!
I know college is not about playing online games or anything like that but i would still like to play with my friends and all that.

I would have to agree with Steve. I am the exact case and point of why the firewall should be there. For three Semisters I decided it was better to become a great player at TFC and failed most of my classes. I do remember downloading music on Napster before the whole illegality of it came into light. There are much better things however that the fast internet connection can be used for. You might be surprised wrok, how fast you can get your work done and research accomplished with a nice OC12 connection (or whatever your school has.)
