I know .hack is a very old RPG game that has been around since the being of DOS, for the most part. I never heard of .hack//infection, but since .hack is part of the title I would guess its another variation of .hack.

I own .hack infection. It was alright. If I rented it first, I would have never bought it. Its about an online game that is not online. The characters in the game are used by people that are online. Just think of it as an online line game right. I dunno its kinda confusing to explain. The game is only 20 hours, you do the same thing all the time. All you do is go in dungeons, fight monsters real time, and when u get to the bottom of the dungeon, you just find items. It's really messed up. The weapon shops are useless cuz u can just trade weapons that you don't need for better ones. And there are only two towns. that's it just two towns and both are useless. if u wanna go outside of the towns, u go in the portal thingy and u can go to pointless dungeons. wow

I have read the comics and watched sum of the shows...
I thought that the game was really fun but hearing this... I will probably not waste any money on the game, THANKS!
