Hi, everyone! I'm relatively unclear on the concept of ps2 online, and was just wondering if it's possible to play it on a 56k modem.

yep you can, just certain games require better connections (like some online action games)

How exactly does that work? Do I just plug the line into the back of the console?

i get online with my ps2 sometimes..

first you need a ISP that will let you get online with ur ps2.. i use earthlink cause aol charge a extra 5.99 a month.

then you buy a network adapter that also comes with a cd that has set up information.. then all you gotta do it follow the instructions and you'll be playin games in no time.
