How to create my own ragnarok server - Page 11

I'll make up a guide for you, hope it helps!

1. Go here and download the latest version of vidar

2. Install it, just click agree and next and put your ip in where it says to (go to for it incase you don't already know it)
www.whatismyip.com

3. The default vidar folder is in My Computer-->Program Files-->Vidar just double click on Vidar character, Vidar zone and Vidar login, but before that you need to make an account so download this, it is a account maker

4. Just enter in all the reuired stuff and make a GM account if you wish by clicking create gm and checking all the powers you want.

5.You must have a data folder and if you don't you can download one here

6.Go to My computer C:\WINDOWS\system32\drive rs\etc and open hosts file in notepad put down there this:
127.0.0.1 your WAN IP(www.whatismyip.com)

7. Load all the vidar things, log in and your ready to go!

Sclientinfo: (remove that "Your WAN IP here" and put there your wan ip)

Hello, I dont intend to make an online server of my own. I have RO offline sakray test server installed on my computer but it is so god damn outdated u wont believe it. It doesnt even have 2-2 jobs and new weapons. It doesnt even have new maps like umbala or gonryun. For short, I suspect it is a War of Emperium version. So how do i get my sakray test server as updated as the online servers? I wanna have those heal dogs and special npcs. Has it got something to do with a patch or anything? If anyone can kindly help me please e-mail dragonhunter2020@hotmail. com or u can even add me in MSN,or just reply me in this post cuz i will be checking this post everyday. Well it will be kind of cool if i can have my own offline server made without using the sakray test server engine but this doesnt matter now. I just need to get my RO offline updated. Thx to those who can help me.

My attemps were: I installed ERO and pasted everything in the ERO directory into the Sakray Test Server folder.
Results:It finally had 2-2 jobs but without any freakin skills at all. And when i open the skill window it goes out to windows and said some .bmp file isnt found.

So i really need help from RO offline experts here.

Anyone has a solution for updating it pls teach me ASAP! Again, either post it on this thread or email me/add me in msn. Thanks to those who can help me I will really appreciate your help.
