Re: Super Mario 3
I thought 20 minustes was the best, but If you watch this video it's clear that the enemys were programmed perfectly so that if you jump and hold over, with a few exceptions, and fly to the end.

That is not Psycho mad skill...that is a hoax. I was so disappointed to hear that it was a hoax...but it is.
For you see, the guy who did that in 11 minutes did it on an emulator. So what he did was try to get an excellent time on one level and succeed. He'd save there, and then try to get an excellent time on the next stage and so forth.
What I'm trying to say is that that wasn't done on one run. So he probably wouldn't be able to come over to your house and beat the game in 11 minutes.
I mean, sure, what he did is somewhat amazing, but it isn't one run...

Re: Super Mario 3
Must have had too much time on his hands to spend that much time beating a game. I mean wouldn't you rather play more games then an old one like SM3?

Actually, thats kind of obvious, except, he F saved after every hemi-second. It would be an extremely tedious procedure, so thats what made it so cool.

Okay, now that would just be ridiculous. It would make more sense to just master a level and shoot it.

Re: Super Mario 3
True, you figure out when to jump the first time, and save your work, but if your fast enough to use fox correctly on SSBM, you will start to notice plenty of time to use f save when you jump.

Hard to believe that anybody can beat Super Mario Brothers 3 in 11 minutes or even 25 minutes inless the guy cheated to get all 3 whistles on the first level. LOL
