Anyone here tried Farcry yet for the PC? What would you give it out of 10, im thinking of buying Farcry for the PC or War Of The Ring. What ones best as ive heard loads of good stuff about both! (bare in mind both completely differ styles of games)

I haven't had a chance to get my hands on this game yet, but it does look very good from trailers I've seen...

will have to give a review when i get the game in the next few days

Well i would say that if you like FPS you will like this game alot.....
Alot of reviews are saying it is the best FPS since Half Life and that the enemy A.I is awsome! The graphics are simply amazing so you will need a beef of a machine to run it smoothly!

I am getting it as soon as my new beast of a PC arives!

I've played it and I can say it simply RULES. Incredible graphics, great sounds, addictive gameplay and that special thing that makes you keep playing and playing to see where the game leads. I don't know about War of The Ring (is it out already?) but I totally recommend Far Cry...

Farcry is cool, if your PC can handle it. I have a rockin machine but I always seem to encounter problems with this game. I am still waiting for the new patch to come out that is "supposed" to solve all ATI problems.

Far Cry is an amazing game.
It has the best graphics I've ever seen and the gameplay is top notch - more metal gear solid than halo.
You really have to think about what you're doing.

Runs great on my 3ghz P4 with 1gb Ram and a radeon 9800 pro.
I'd definitely recommend this game if you've got a muscle PC. 2thumbs

Wow, this game is tough!

I've just reached the top of the tanker, and when I climb the ladder there's a helicopter with a guy shooting at me, 2 guys on my left shooting at me, and about 4 or 5 on my right shooting at me. How do you get past this bit?

The multiplayer on Far Cry is inconsistant to say the least. Damage is all out of whack, with something like 9 .357 shots in the body being the equivalent of one in the head. The graphics and levels are great, but be aware that the multiplayer may be nothing like what you expected.

Multiplayer: 4/10 (but I'm a realism freak)

Yeah I didn't like the muiltiplayer either, the layout of the maps was too confusing, especially on a Free for All where you would have people on other islands, and you would just get shot from any direction...
