Final Fantasy 8 pc question
I have just got ff8 for pc and the graphics are only a tiny little bit better then the psx version..... In the configuration file it only lets you choose 640x400 (psx res) Is it posible to somehow increase the resoloution by editing a file or something??
any help is wanted

no there wouldnt be cause that is its maxium resolution it would look worse if you ncreased it, everything would look to small it would take up the hole screen. its cause the game was only made for that sorry. i didnt no it was on camputer anyway i might get it.

There should be a drop down box or something like that as you should be able to change the res. If oyu can't then I wonder why they even try to program the game for the PC as the PC games tend to look better in high res.

Sorry, I'm gonna close this, old thread...
And you can't raise the reso, I've looked before, the reason it looks so bad (grainy) is because they took it from a playstation resolution (not quite sure what it is, around 300x100) and needed to stretch it for PC...
