Spider in my Fruit
A while ago I opened up a bag of grapes to find a spiderweb entangled inside, complete with half-inch long spider.
Anyone else found weird stuff in their food?

Re: Spider in my Fruit
Well.. i believe that in the supermarket here once.. someone bought grapes.. to find a Black Widow ... still alive inside .......... I would like to point out that Black widows are extremely poisonous and very cute ¬_¬

Underside of abdomen contains two redish triangles
Adults average 1 1/2 inches long
Have 8 eyes in two rows
Also in Chile you get these "arañas pollito" (chicken spiders) that like standing up and throwing their spiky hair at you.. i believe they poisonous too...
you dont find them in fruits.. just inside your shoes.. or bed.. depends 8\ !¬_¬ http://icarito.latercera.cl/icarito/...15-pollito.gif

Blondi, that is what this thread is about, if you don't want to see it then just delete it with your mod powers! 2thumbs I guess to continue with the topic I have not found any spiders in my food. But the average person eats 4 or 5 whole spiders per year or some urban legend like that.

Re: Spider in my Fruit
No foo, this is about weird things you have found in food, so it does not necessarily mean just spiders

Re: Spider in my Fruit
who here has ever looked in the fridge and was going to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich but the jelly has mold on it...so you don't eat it
but the next day you see you dad eating a sandwich with that same jelly, all he did was cut the mold off the top and said it was still good
