Is it possible to connect a PS2 to a PC monitor/vdu

I expect it isn't but it would make life easier if it was

A North American release for Venom's universal adapter has not been confirmed at this time, but we'll let you know as soon as more information becomes available.

when you play your ps2 online does it run off the pc moniter....i thought it did?
