Metal Arms image flicker

When playing Metal Arms on the Xbox, there is a line of distortion through the image that appears when I move or look around. The line shifts from the bottom to the top of the screen over time. None of my other Xbox games have this problem. I took it back to the store and exchanged it for another copy, but the problem was still there.

I've seen one other person so far with this problem and they also took their copy back and exchanged it for another copy to no avail. In their case, however, the store clerk tested the one of the copies and it worked fine there. This leads me to believe the problem lies with our tv's or something.

I have a Panasonic widescreen HDTV and I have the Xbox connected via S-Video. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have an idea why this may be happening? Thanks!!!!

Hmm, have you tried putting the Xbox through the AV sockets instead of the SCART socket.

But I think that line can also be a frame skipping, have you tried your Xbox on a different TV...? Because it might be the console...

Also in the game, see if you can change the video settings, try change it to 16:9 I think it is, or even in the Xbox settings...

Wow! What is a SCART socket? Sorry for my stupidity. I'm not familiar with that term. Is that the same as S-Video? If you are referring to the input to the TV, no I haven't tried changing to RCA or anything. I've now seen someone else with the same issue using component video.

It's not a really big deal, I just wanted to see if anyone knew why this was and if there was a fix. Instead I found a bunch of people with the same problem and no solution. But I can live with it, so oh well.

Thanks very much for the help!!
