California up in flames

I don't know if I am the only one that watches California news, when I live in VA.
any way I have been watching the news for the past week and there have been like 7 fire braking out every where.
the fires are so bad that it burnt 1,600 homes
over 500,000 acres of land and killed over 15 people
what are your comments on all this?

well... i dont see how you can get killed by a fire like that unless you try and fight it off... just run away from it... its all you really can do till the fire fighters put it out... if they are rich to live in that area... then they can buy new homes later...

I have been watching this on Fox news MG....You know although I feel sorry for these people, it happens EVERY year at this time, wouldn't you think they would/should be more prepared, after witnessing it every single year?

was it the fact of thinking fire was bad... or getting over all them times you looked at a flame for hours and thought it was great, and so cool to watch... wtf

well personally I love burning things.....but I got to thinking (don't worry it only happens once in a while...)and it took a little while but I think that fire burning down all that stuff was ....probably.....a bad thing...

they really did not get killed by the fire
some of it was cause of the smoke and some of it was trying to leave

Of course so many people died. Just imagine how fast the fires must be moving to have burned that many acres completely in such a short period of time. And not everyone can actually run, some people are too old or are injured.
