I installed some new ram into my computer and now after using it for a while i get a single BEEP and the monitor says NO SIGNAL and my monitor light goes orange.

My tower is still running and the power is all on all the leads are connected the beep some times happens after an hour some times after 6..

any one know any thing about this?

Odd. Your old ram worked fine, nothing like this before?
Try switching the ram around in the slots, could be something small that just caused a little glitch.

Brand, size?

Did you update all your drivers for your graphics card, CPU, motherboard, ect?

Different plug types for your monitor? Try switching them around.
Your getting the colored screen of death sounds like.
I really doubt it could be your ram, just try those things above incase.

Most of the time a problem like that is caused by the video card.
Post more info on your comp's hardware.
