I think its fare enough tat MGS4 in ps3 Final Fantasy XIII in X box 360

It is a choice of the developers. Square Enix felt it would make more money with two platforms. (which is almost always the case) I understand people want to be able to play certain games if they don't have the console. I guess the solution is to either buy the console, go to a friends house that has it and play it, or just simply play a different game.

Its all about the profit. Two platforms, twice as much money.
Don't know, I'm a big FF fan, from the PS1. A bit sad to see it sell out to other developers and platforms, but meh, more get to play a great game.

The great success MGS4 got for ps3 & it not release in x box 360 after rumors that the game will release in xbox 360, x box 360 have to take revenge for this so ff come to play now there are rumors of ff in ps3 ,,,,,hooho

Final Fantasy XIII was announced for PS3 over a year ago, now Square-Enix has decided to bring it to the 360, which pisses me off because i bought a PS3 for Final Fantasy XIII, never thought it would arrive on the 360...

I can see them doing the same with Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

I dont see the problem to be honest.. i mean final fantasy hasnt been good in quite some time and even if it is you still get to play it if you have a ps3.

Square also said they will be doing ANOTHER ps3 exclusive to make up for it so i wouldnt get to pissed off quite yet.

No idea but apparently they are going to be making something. Most people think it will be a FF7 Remake but i hope it isn't, shit is more overhyped then halo 3.

FF7 remake would shut down the work force of our world for a week.

You will probably get more out of the game on a PS3.
That's my guess at least.

Still... Final Fantasy will continue to sell on name despite mediocre gameplay, story and music that the new team of amatuers spew when attempting emulate that of 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, all of which were made by a different and completely superior group of developers.

COME BACK SQUARE! Apoligize for overworking your most talented artist, programmers, musicians, and writers and do whatever it takes to get the old team back together!

Actually, the team that took over at Square seems pretty set on remaking and basically killing every FF... because their work is so inferior... They need the good publicity so the mainstream fan-base doesn't catch on.

Square Enix has sided with Microsoft this generation saying that they find Sony has been making the wrong choices since launch.

Now what I don't get is that sure more xbox360's are sold but JRPGs sell the most in Japan, and in Japan there are like 3 xboxs and 10 360's... well I guess they wanted the money, either way I don't care ^^ as long as I get quality.

Japan is very different. While the PS1 was popular here, that Sega Saturn was popular there.

They had an extremely popular ad campaign involving a Sega martial artist attacking people who weren't playing the Saturn. The character was so popular that the release of the Dreamcast involved him sacrificing himself to save the New console.

That's quite unfortunate. Really sick of remakes. Pointless in my opinion, just another way for the industry to make money. Taking something that was "classic" and blowing it up into a mess of shiny graphics and famous celebs doing voice overs. Every Sonic game, just leave the poor bloke alone. He was once good, a long time ago ...

I'd be happy to post a video. The Sega Saturn was extremely successful in Japan, and had all the games we were playing on the PS1 here. LOL this Ad campaign was awesome; The Japanese created a Black Belt Martial Artist Character, the Segata Sanshiro, who would carry a giant Sega saturn to various locations and beat people up who were doing anything other than playing a Sega. The commercials would involve the fore mentioned followed by clips of game play for saturn Games. The following video is a Music video made of clips from various commercials during the Saturn Era in Japan.
