Need help choosing a PC

I'm looking at getting a new PC for gaming and stuff. I've come up with two options so far but can't choose between them and can't decide if I can get better value from somewhere that isn't DELL but still get on site warranty.

Here are the specs (option 1 costs £873 option 2 costs £1068):

Processor:
option 1: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E8400 processor (3.00GHz, 1333MHz, 6MB cache)
option 2:XPS 420 E8300 Core 2 Duo Processor (2.83GHz, 1333MHz FSB, 6MB cache)

Operating system:
Vista Premium 32 Bit

RAM:
4096MB 800MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [4x1024]

Video card:
option 1: 256MB ATI® Radeon™ HD 2400 XT graphics card
option 2: 256MB ATI® Radeon® HD 3650 Graphics card

Hard Drive:
Option 1: 750GB (7200rpm) SATA Hard Drive
Option 2: Hard Drive 500GB Serial ATA non Raid (7200 Rpm)

Disc Drives:
option 1: DVD +/- RW Drive (read/write CD & DVD)
option 2: Blu-Ray ROM Drive (read/write CD/DVD & read Blu-Ray Disc)

Sound Card:
Integrated HDA 7.1 Dolby Digital Audio

Speakers:
Option 1ell™ A225 Speakers
Option 2ell™ A525 Speakers with Subwoofer

Extras:
Option 1: Office -Home and student
Option 2: Office -Home and student, Integrated Hybrid TV Tuner card with Dell Media Remote control

Option 1 is a much better deal. If you are looking to upgrade something with the money you save on it go for the video card, I have the one from that machine in my imac I am currently using, while it is fine for now on most games it will quickly not be enough for future or current high end games.

Basically the second one you are paying an extra £200 for a blu-ray reader. For starters games are finally just going to dvd format so blu-ray is a long ways off. Secondly wait until you can get a blu-ray writer in a couple of years for much cheaper.
