Well this post/article could open a huge can of worms.

That being said I will reply anyways. First off you saying "And if you don't believe in God or anything at all...you better start now..." sounds more like a threat. But I won't get into that, because that is your point of view and it is fine for you to express it. Secondly religion doesn't necessarily make you a good or bad person, you are who you are. Your belief in God may help guide you to a "nicer" path, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't have chosen that same path without your belief.
I was going to write a long "speech" here about giving others their own choice, but I will simply leave it as this. I am Catholic, I believe what I believe and others may have a different view then me, and that is their right.

Yes...it is a threat. Unlike you I care for other people. So what if they don't believe in GOD? As long I told them that the reward is Heaven/Eternal Life by believing in him, by fearing him, I'm giving them an option.^-^

What you're telling me is to leave other people alone in their religion that we know is false...how nice of you. You said you're catholic right? Well, where is your attempt to "Threat" these kind of people and change their belief and to believe what is right.

Wow, you are bold to say just because I am not forcing or "threatening" (your word not mine) people into changing to my religion, I don't care about people. Quite a big first step don't you think? You also point out the fact me not taking action is somehow implying the "terrorist" are my doing by my lack of caring. On that note I won't go into how the US used the Afghanistan's in the cold war with Russia, we trained and supplied some of their leaders including Osma Bin Laden. But that is a bit off subject.

Change can be good, but not always, obviously there are many times where change has been bad, but I get the meaning behind what you are going for and agree.

Finally I did answer your question just not in simple yes and no terms, you have to read what I wrote and not just glaze over it. I said you are who you are. Since religion is part of who I am it has to affect how I treat people online. I also said the 3 things you list being nice to new people, being polite, and respectable, you don't need religion to do these things. Before you became a born again Christian I am sure there were times you were nice to people. Now the frequency of which you were nice may or may not have gone up, but now you are putting it all on God. God gave us all freewill on purpose, he didn't force any of us into being good or evil. The world we live in is not so black and white as good and evil, it is a matter of perspective.

I choose not to believe. I personally believe anyone can believe anything that they want to believe, regardless of why or how.

I don't believe in any set religion, I don't really follow any moral standards that religion places upon you. Fear is not a way to win people over, technically you can, but fear isn't true belief, its just a false state of mind you're set in. Fear is something a tyrant will use to make his peasants grobble at his feet, and live in extreme poverty.

Religion causes to many conflicts, and deaths for me to switch to any side, that deserves an ounce of caring from me.

The reason why people don't come here is because the forum is being neglected by the owner. I doubt it is anything to do with this Religion forum. Despite how useless it is now. I can't even remember why we agreed to having it in the first place.
