Basicaly all the top selling games for the xbox360 get a superior port to the pc/ps3 while the ps3 keeps alot of its top line games exclusive. ( Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, MGS, Resistance, Killzone, LBP and so on. )

I honestly cant see the point of buying an xbox when for just a little more you can get a fairly top end gaming pc and then have the wealth of already existing PC games, not to mention free online.

Then again this is just my point of view and every one is entitled to their own.

I should really just stick to one set of avatar/sig...

Superior? Bioshock, Lost Planet and Oblivion all got ported the PS3 later but that's all I can think of where you could claim a superior port. The top selling games on the 360 are Halo 3 (a 360 exclusive), GTA IV (released at the same time on both consoles and with the extra content would probably be considered superior on the 360) and CoD 4 (released at the same time on both consoles but widely considered to be better on the 360). For every LBP there is a Castle Crashers and a Geometry wars. There are exclusives on both sides.

Halo 3 is rubbish and well i don't even have to prove my point there GTA 4 is coming to pc CoD 4 has a SUPERIOR PC PORT! ( read the stuff in caps carefully) Also i cant see how you can compare XBL games to LBP... ( I wont even start on the amazing games on PSN )

What im saying is XBOX 360 IS CLEARLY A TONED DOWN PC.

I would also like to add that the "Xbox = SUPERIOR" version of Grand Theft Auto 4 seems to be the one with pop ins and other issues and i would hardly think PAYING for a few addition missions would make it superior..would you? ( seeing as quite alot of DLC is free..)

I wont even go into how the many reasons there that make the upcoming ps3 Bioshock 'port' superior, Oblivion has less loading and smoother frames on the ps3 and well lost planet HA that's a laugh...

I would ask that instead of saying that my post didn't make sense and calling me a fanboy that you read my post. I've never even said the 360 is superior to the PS3, I said they both have good exclusives.

I prefer the 360 version as did the majority of purchasers of CoD 4. I know just because more people bought it doesn't make it better but it defiantly seems to contradict the PC version being an superior port. You may not like Halo 3 but it's widely considered to be a damn good game and has one of the best online experiences around.

I disagree. It's got a whole different feature set, most notably LIVE and has great LOCAL multiplayer.

It's cheaper and they replace all broken 360s now, so meh you get what you pay for.

It's an extra 15 hours of gameplay, essentially a console exclusive expansion pack. You wouldn't want an expansion pack?

You completly ignored the fact that you compared a LIVE game to LBP.

PC Mulitplayer is most of the time free and superior.

To be honest i wouldnt want to pay for "15 hours" of apperntly extra game play in a SAND BOX game...

The price of a 360 and a PS3 is basicaly the same and i dont remember any of the last gen or gen before that consoles failing that hard.. even the cheaper ones. ( Why would you pay for somthing that has such a high chance of failing when for the same amount of money you can get a VERY GOOD gaming pc.. )

I may be a bit late on this debate, but let me re-awaken it.

It may seem that 360 has better exclusives, but every game I would buy for the 360 I can simply get for the PC. GoW, Halo, Fable, Bioshock, Mass Effect, ect.

Its cheaper and you don't have to pay for Live, going on Live is free on PC.

The 360 is a great system, but simply saying it has more games is slowly becoming an ineffective method of proving which console is better. PS3 and 360 both have even amounts of exclusives. Only difference is I can play every 360 game on my PC. Just saying.

Cheap and fun for an hour.

I have fun playing the Wii with friends every now, Boom Blocks is addicting. Lack of actual "games" is bad though. So many worthless games, aimed at 3-10 audiance. Disney movie games, ect.

In a way nintendo sold out its old fans. Wii Music? Really? With rockband and Guitar hero already available for Wii. Too many games directed at an audiance that's knowledge of games is as large as my respect for Paris Hilton.

Nintendo sold out hard core.. but the DS still has some of the best hand held games around so i forgive them, for now.

I thought I would bring the Wii into this. Its still a console, the most popular currently (sadly). The DS is a great handheld, nintendo's best since the gameboy color.

True, nintendo sold the hardcore gamers that supported them since the NES Console. which is sad... but I guess they're making a lot of money. Still, we have the 360 and PS3 and no matter which one you think it's best they are both great systems with great games. (Agree with Tim 100%)

I own a xbox 360 and in mine opinion even with the problems the system has, microsoft's console is better (THIS IS IN MY F***ing OPINION, SO DON'T EVEN BOTHER TRYING TO CONVINCE ME OF SOMETHING ELSE.) Although I hate the idea of having to pay to play online, Because let's face it, It's stupid having to pay to play online when in the PC and PS3 the service is free. I don't care how good Xbox Live is... If they will charge for the gold membership they should at least give some free stuff on Xbox Live. Those bastards from Microsoft are all ab
