i SAW ALL REALLY GOOD REASONS AND VERY LITTLE FANBOY ACTIVITY!!!YAY MONSTERGAMERS YOUR GROWING UP..<that was said in friendly jest>

seriously I have both, and the wii, and I find myself pllaying the box more often in order to gain achievements on xboxlive. It also limits my game buying as I don't want a game on my ps3 i could be getting higher gamer score out of on the box, on the flip side, uncharted, resistance, warhawk, motorstorm, Lair, and heavenly sword are all very fun games and I have spent hours playing them... If you have a psp the workd of the ps3 opens up even more, and is contiueing to grow everyday, online play is free and as mentioned above, in long run money wise ps3 will cost you less, have you seen a blue ray on HDTV wow..... I don't play wii much and ps3 is gaining on play time... so basically it is up to you what you buy and anyone who reads this afterwards... buy them both!!!!

I'd go with the Xbox 360 instead of the PS3 because i feel that there are more games available for the 360 at a cheaper price and you can't go wrong with Xbox Live.

Meh, can't bring myself to pay for online service on a console, when the community is filled with raging, hormonal defective, seven year olds.

I'll stick with free PSN. So, it doesn't have gears of war, and halo online, big deal. There are more out there than just those.

It really comes down to if your friends have an xbox or not, if they do then xbox live can be GREAT fun but other wise the ps3 can offer the same amount if not more enjoyment in the single player department.

ps3 online is still good just not AS good or easy to use as the xbox one.

LittleBig Planet as i have already said in another thread if it lives up to the hype will be the best game ever...

PS3.

Free Online, MGS4, LBP, tons more exclusives yet to be announced. Plus, I think PS3 is catching up to Microsoft and quick. The MGS4 bundles themselves increased PS3 sales. These past two months have surpassed 360 sales. I want to wait til November and see how big of a push they get.

Graphics plays a very important role while you are playing a game. A graphic can change your complete mind. You can not place a comedy graphic behind a car racing game and PS3 is not only better in graphics, its also has a nice collection of games.

I'd say neither claim is particularly true. The graphics on the PS3 are not better in most games. The majority of multi-platform games are primarily developed on the 360 and as such have better graphics on it. There are a couple of sole PS3 games (eg MGS4) which have nicer graphics than 360 titles but not many. As for having a better collection of games, I'd have to disagree. GoW, Halo and Fable are pretty decent games. There's also some of the more indy titles on arcade like Castle Crashers and Braid can offer a counter point to LBP. Now in fact there are just as many, if not more, Square RPGs on the 360 than the PS3.

The only game that really 360 doesn't have a counterpoint to is Heavy Rain which just looks damn awesome.

I completely agree with the above.

Both the 360 and PS3 have near enough the same graphically capability. Additionally, most of the games on the 360 are featured on the PS3 and vice versa. With the odd exclusive e.g MGS 4

But I agree that graphics aren't everything. I think the Wii is a statement to show that fact.
