Re: Games that had good Storylines
I think the only 2 memorable story line's from games were Shenmue on the Dreamcast and of course FF7.
But I did enjoy the continuous Resident Evil storyline.

Re: Games that had good Storylines
The Metal Gear series. Sure, there are some blunders here and there but overall, it's as epic as a video game storyline can get.
Kingdom Hearts 1 had a good thing going, but KH2 was just...ugh.
Vagrant Story also had an impressive storyline. FF7 and FF12 from the FF series.
I enjoyed Ratchet & Clank's and Jak's storylines. Biohazard series, but only the main parts (i.e 1, 2, 3 and 4)
And other games that I can't recall.
EDIT: From recent games: Assassin's Creed

Re: Games that had good Storylines
Thief will stay on the PC only, no console version, atleast that I'm aware of.

Re: Games that had good Storylines
They really don't, the second one for the 360 was said to be the last one, by the lead developer.
