Has anyone purchased Grand Theft Auto. Is it living up to all the hype, or should I wait till it is being resold as used and save a few bucks.

I've been enjoying it, much better than the disapointing San andreas but that being said even tho I find it's alot of fun, it doesn't deserve a 10/10 <.< more like 9.5 or 9.7

lol i hate GTA games and it really fun so if your patient wait and save the 5 10 dollars used someone will turn it in within 5 days. trust me as a manager at gamestop i have never seen a new game not come in used withing 5 days of release... otherwise buy it new you won't be wasteing your money..... fun game... harder to drive the cars though. online is great anyone intrested in just having some fun online invite me fadein2madness.

So I wasn't the only one to spot the flaws.

LET ME MAKE IT SIMPLE.
i dont like GTA (any of the games )
however game play on new one is good,
if you are patient, wait for it used,
all games get traded in soon after release
even though i don't like GTA, i enjoyed this game, except the driving of the vehicles....
It has online game play that is fun also...

and lupus you must have gotten the jist of what i was saying or you would have commented on it.... anyway....

buy it if you like the franchise it is a good game... wow...

I got it on the day of release. Haven't beaten it yet, i'm currently on the 3rd island. Haven't played online much at the moment, couple of deathmatches and a few apperences in free roam and its insane, i will be playing online alot more once i hit 100%. I am enjoying the game alot more than the others, though many people say the driving is difficult, i thought that at first but a couple of hours into the game i started to get the hang of it.
