I am the father of an 8 yr old that is telling me he need a thing called action replay to finish a Pokemon game and to get special events
Can someone please help me. Can he do all this stuff with out action replay?
What is action replay? If he must have it where do i buy it and how much should i pay?

he wouldn't really need it, it's just more of an 'addition'. personally, i don't have it, don't wont it and have no need for it. if you want to buy it for go for it, but it's not necessary.

its only to cheat really, ok i've had one, i've still got it, its broke, but i dont care

all it does its change the game codes for that save

for eg

you had $6 in your wallet, you had the Action Replay DS thing to change that to $1,000,000 - it'll change your $5 into $1m, it'll only stay like that until you shut down the DS, but IF you save it, it stays, so then you can either gain more or less, without the AR DS thing, so you can spend $100 & have $999,900 left

but if you use it, the Action Replay thing, it means you aint good enough to do the game IMO
