What have you been playing?
What's everyone been playing recently? Is it good, would you recommend it? No one sentence answers please.
I've been playing Assassins Creed since this weekend. I'm really enjoying it so far. The cities are amazing and my favorite part of the game is just jumping across rooftops and trying to climb all the high buildings. There are a couple of glitches and problems with the targeting system which make the actual assassinations quite annoying but mostly it's a great game.

Anyways, that game sounds awful and according to reviews is just one long add for Purina cat food. So, why's it good?

Re: What have you been playing?
A few days ago I got Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions on the PSP; such a fantastic game. I haven't really played many turned-based strategy game (fire emblem, advance wars etc.,) but this really blows them out of the water. As far as I know, it's like most other TBS games, except for the job system which, i think, makes the game so much better.
The cutscenes are beautiful, using a sketchy anime look which really works well and the graphics, altough kinda blurry are great, and the blurriness is pretty much forgotten.
I'm only at the end of Chapter 1 but so far the story seems good and looks like it'll only get better.
I recommend this to any FF/TBS games.
Also, i'm playing Animal Crossing: Wild World though only for a few minutes a day, just to check turnip prices, talk to residents etc. I'll might write a mini-review of whatever for this later.

Re: What have you been playing?
Beat Army of Two recently. Short game, but great.
Dialogue can be a bit much at times, still funny. Slaughtering loads of people, then they do a fist pound, and air guitar.
Patapon for the PSP is amazing. Brilliant design.
Mainly been concentrating more on building my new PC. Just ordered all the parts, should be arriving soon.
That's been taking up much of my game time.

Re: What have you been playing?
well Recently ive bought a PS3 with the games DMC4, Assassins Creed, Heavenly Sword, Army of Two
DMC4 i finished quite easy but nonthesless Awesome game.
Assassins Creed still busy with playing it, At the beginning its Great but after a while it gets 1 sided and a bit boring.
Heavenly Sword its a good game, not the best story but its nice.
Army of Two is not bad, but alot of Bullshit in it if you ask me.

Re: What have you been playing?
I'm 7/9th of the way through and I've found that it gets repetitive if you try and play it for long periods of time but doing like an hour or two a day is just great.

Re: What have you been playing?
I didn't hook on creed, played it for a few hours with a friend, repetitif, and cool a sandbox with... very little to do some bugs, AI wasn't the brightest so I didn't go buy it after having played for a few hours.

Re: What have you been playing?
For me there is no hate, there is only love. I just finished it and the ending is awesome. It's obviously leading up to the sequels but all the conspiracy stuff in it just makes me love it.

Re: What have you been playing?
Well, I'm a bit behind on the gaming generation. I still only have a playstation 2, which took me forever to buy. I just bought a hole in the wall game called "Kakuto Chojin" and let me say, it is utter brilliance. (Fighter) It's fighting system is a bit weird at first, but once you g et sued to it, you can do huge combos. They also have this battle royale mode, that can support up to four players. (Xbox of course). It like a free roam kind of thing, in a little area, and the four people can just beat the **** out of anyone, it's way sweet.

Re: What have you been playing?
I beat Assassin's Creed, and while it is repetitive, I played it just to see how the story unfolds. Plus, it got a bit more challenging as the game progressed, so those more repetitive tasks became harder to execute, usually because of more guards, more alert guards, et. cetra.
I'm playing Guitar Hero 3 right now. Shit's awesome, but hard as heck sometimes. I beat it on easy, but I'm going back through on regular. I FEAR Expert...tried to play one song on it once...and got booed off the stage
Anyway, I'm thinking about going back and playing Gears some more. I miss the frantic gameplay, and I can't wait for Grand Theft Auto 4, which should carry the "cover" aspects from Gears. I'm definitely gonna be playing it once it comes out.
Other than that, I ain't playing anything else.
