Re: Quick Vista question

I'd say if it already came with Home, then it will support Ultimate. But it would depend on your specs, namely your graphics card.

Re: Quick Vista question

The Vista installs are identical the only thing that differentiates the different varieties of vista is the product key you enter in, the product key activates or deactivates the various features depending upon the product key you have purchased.

Your Vista home install has all the features included in Ultimate it's just that your Home Product Key turns those features off.

To upgrade from Home to Ultimate you need to purchase a Vista Ultimate product key, no re-install is required.
