We were all on topic. Its not that I think banning was possibly wrong....however...I would like to know why people get banned....1. To apease my curiosity, 2. To keep from making similar mistakes, 3. to decide if the forum is unfairly (which in this case prolly not) traeting people. Just cause someone is obnoxious doesn't qualify for banning them....maybe taking away a moderator status....but well as much as Lupus has his opinions and I have mine...Phatty too has his... I am abashed you closed my last thread...as it was completely on topic and never not for one post varied...seriously I feel afrontted lol. Okay not really but what gives....Do we squash obnoxious opinions lol....if so I am sure I am on a list somewhere.....

Ah, THAT thread. Anyway, to the best of my knowledge IP bans aren't issued because if the person doing it doesn't do it correctly they can ban a large number of other legitimate users.

The usual reasons for banning:
Offensive language, photos that are not allowed on the forum, threating other members, attempting to hack certain aspects of the website, completely changing other member's post as a mod insulting staff. Only one I cam near to breaking was Loop's last post. I didn't change what he said, but erased the insult. And the part about them saying I was closing topics for no reason, there was a reason. I was closing old topics back from before I was here. Apparently some newbies are wanting to post in them, it was only logical to close them.
I was supposed to have the ban lifted today, but it seems they tacked on another 6 days. Quite a shame.

I am not going to ask you why I was banned, I know why, I am too much for the staff to handle, you don't like my opinions, and you are afraid that I might be right. I continually push the matter because it is that important for everyone.
About the ban, it seems you are covering your asses, it was originally going to be lifted today at 10:00 am, then it gets changed to March 12, 12:00 pm. It was originally two days and don't lie about it, I saw it with my own eyes.

The rules are easily found and they can explain a couple of things which can get you banned.

Multiple Accounts

Multiple usernames are not allowed. Only one registration is allowed per email address, but if we find someone who has registered with multiple email addresses, we may IP ban you. If you forget your password for your account, simply click the lost password link to get it sent to you. Or alternatively, just email the Administrator to have it reset for you.

This more than warrants the extension of your ban. Really you should be IP banned from trying to break the conditions of your ban but no one has decided to do that

Wow dude you flatter yourself... The boundaries have been pushed further in the past and more heated arguments have occurred. You were most definitely banned because of this.

What difference does it make? DP is banned for said reasons regardless of it was right or wrong. The reasons for IP banning have already been mentioned above. Any lesser offense such as flaming, spamming etc warrants warnings, temp ban and then permanent ban.

You, phat, core, or whatever you want to call yourself. You have a serious problem. You see 'evil' everywhere, you push your opinions where they're not called for. You want to make everything right according to yourself. People have different beliefs, it is not up to you to change them. This is not why we banned you. We banned you because of your clearly obvious abuse of power, your lack of tolerance and your lack of regard for fellow member's opinions.

Your ban was extended by me. I planned to just demote you, from a mod to a member. But your appearance as 'Core' and your replies made me extend your ban. The irony is amusing. You claim to be a savior, a forgiver, a tolerative person yet you act but none of those. If you really are a responsible mod, wait till your ban is lifted.

I never ban people just because I dislike them. No one is above or below the law.

EDIT: I would've banned your 'Core' account too but, you keep proving our decision right. So no point to it.

I must agree here. I have just as strongly held beliefs as Phatty, iif not much stronger, and much better defended, yet I have never been told or warned...also Lupus and I have had quite the heated argument insults and all...and I am pretty sure we were both smart enough to do it in the no holds bar forum....so I am thinking maybe this ban was appropriate the need for a mod demotion def. If ou aren't supposed to have 2 accounts...then admitadly saying you have a new one after you are banned is just reason for futher sentence of ban...if not total banning.

Lupus is (again you guys keep forceing this on me) correct when he says most people aren't capable of a good IP ban as you would more likely cause problems than stop one.

Oh and if people are writning in them...whats the point to closing a thread at all...??
