The Stupid things Nintendo do
1) why did they release the purple GC as their tradmark colour? the black one would of been much better as it fits in nicly with the rest and would give off a less kiddy feel.
2) broadband and internet gameplay is almost forgotten on the CG, nintendo have no current plans for the future of online gaming which is where it is all going these days.
3) rumours. nintendo dont release enough information. we find out almost of our info from rumours and other sources and when they finally announce the thing, whatever it way be this time, then its already old news.

theres another one! and those disks only hold 1.2 gig each too... but they look cool! but really the truth is quite sad

ok, number 1 was a mistake of Nintendo's. Number 2, you haven't been reading very much, you're quite uninformed. Animal Crossing 2 has been confirmed for going online. What you don't realise is that LAN is just a small step by nintendo towards online gaming, surely you can see that. Number 3, well Shigeru Miyamoto realises this, so therefore read interviews with him. He always lets things slip. He announced pikmin 2 and Mario128 ages ago, about 8 or 9 months ago!
The Gamecube discs are 8cm in diameter and hold 2.5 gigabytes, not 1.2. The dvd player was left out because that would make the price go up. Nintendo provide a games console, therefore they leave out things like cd players and dvd players which would make the price go up.
Nintendo do make mistakes, but the quality of the products they out-put are so high that tey're easily forgiven.

The problem Nintendo has is that its actions are too conservative. Maybe this is in part of its experience in the gaming industry, I don't know.....All I know is that unless they become a little more progressive like Xbox and PS2 and accept new technological advances and become a little more "mature" in the content of their games in order to target a wider audience, that they will just become like Capcom or Sega....I guess you can really sum it up with saying that the board of directors at Nintendo should be kicked out.

you dont lie do you  but still, there are many mistakes out there that they fail to make up for, but this failure to make up for the other failure is made up for by the quality of games wtf ..........

Well Nintendo may lack in areas like DVD player and online games but I care about the games, if you want to watch a DVD watch it on a DVD player.....!? Its a game console not a super computer..

thats a very good point and it is the reason that i bought it, i now own a dvd player too so that is makes up for its lacking
the games are really what matter
