You are kinda of right.
Atheism is the disbelief of anything at all. Satanism recognizes both God and Satan, and (Some) idolizes Satan. I can acknowledge the existence of a higher power, just that it is completely useless. I personally idolize, but do not worship, Satan, as many Satanists do.

lol, hey I wqas listening to my wifes cds and heard this kicking musical intro and then I heard lyrics I knew...and I knew I had never heard the song before...and it was dream theater the song you have right here I think....creepy... but i listened to more on the cd wow great band..

you don't have to tell me she is freaking awesome....um that is why i married her...maybe her one lapse in judgement, marrying me, she is pretty cool. Yes she likes rock..as do I I just never listened to Dream theater...however to get this train wreck back on track I think its intresting to see i dude listening to them...it shows that even though he is satanist he is not the "crazy" out there kind listening to kill the people music and ready to bleed out goats....as I am christian and love me some metallica sometimes shows I am not the Phatty legalistic sort....are we getting back on track lupus....i feel like bruce willis in un breakable walking away from the train crash unscathed.....

i really like metallicas s and m cd... i love the symphony music in with the rock music....
you should check out this band.. the venaculas.... they have a myspace if you want to hear some of their music full songs free.... not a christian band.. just a good one to listen to if you like rock... satan (to stay on topic lol)

I never was a christian, my whole family was, so I had to go to church and such. Even as a child, i found it all to be something thatwas not for me. I looked at judaism, or however you say it, and that was NOT for me. I checked out a few others, bhuddism, confusiousm, etc.; But none were really fit for me. Then I was like "Oh Yeah, what abotu that one everyone hates?" So I checked it out and was like, sweet. I was 12 when I first began considering myself a Satanist, and still to this day do, 5 years later. When I turn 18, I'm going to go to New York and become a member of the First Church Of Satan, for shits and giggles.
