****!!! I bought a four pack of AAA batteries and it was 4 DOLLARS!!!!
Batteries are expensive now. I hate it.

^Exactly.
Rechargeable batteries are the best in most cases, saving money wise, but eventually over time they will die. Cellphone batteries die over time, MP3 die over time, and you can't recharge them. My phone battery lasted me around four years before I had to buy a new one.

Rechargeable batteries are your best bet. They might take a long time to charge, but if you keep them on rotation, you should be good to go. Besides, it's a lot better for the environment, since you're not disposing of them regularly (I'm a self confessed eco warrior and a nightmare to live with.)
