God is of the male gender. When you go back to the book of Genesis in the Bible, God created man in His image. As we know the story tells us that Adam was the first human, and the woman was created afterwards from the rib bone of Adam. This should tell you God is of the male gender. More so, He looks male.
Women were created as a helper to a man. This does not belittle a woman either, if that is what God made you to be, that is what you are to do. Just as a man is to go out and work with hard labor to rightfully earn an income.

I'm sorry, but yet again I can't sit back and read this ****. DP I'm a Christian myself and I can't agree with you. Nowhere in the Bible does it specifically state that God is male.

Point proving time :

Sure you could say that God was a male in the form of Jesus, but you didn't say that. And of course your right in saying that God made man in his own image, but that can't be used as the sole reason for "knowing" that God is male.

In the Bible, every account of a person seeing God (Old Testament) does state that he came in the human male form. But surely, he does that in order to make the experience more understanding for said person and to be less of an ordeal?

And the reason God is referred to as "he" throughout the Bible is because it's a male dominated world. Seriously, the Bible will have been written a thousand times of the years and I'd say it's naive of you to think that the writers would change the language to suit the audience. It's a harsh reality, but I'd say it's true. Granted the fact that it doesn't necessarily change the meaning that's coming from it.

Personally, I think your being stubborn in your replies and not taking others opinion's into account. And as Scar said, that is the reason for why Lupus gets at you.

Now we both know, that just because we are Christian's it doesn't automatically mean we have all the answers. I'd say that the whole point of being a Christian is that you spend 70% of your life searching for answers in relation to faith, God etc.

For me personally, I'm at the stage of my life, where God is becoming more personal to me. As opposed to when we are younger, we are told of God through stories etc at Church. Now, God is communicating with me more and providing me with answers etc. Don't feel as though it's wrong to question things at times, because questioning something in regards to faith, may make your faith stronger.

Look all of you can believe what you will. It is difficult for me to talk to any of you about because you are so far behind. You can't even imagine what I have seen and what I know.
You keep saying I am full of shit, and yet you all are. You can't let it go that maybe I know something you don't. You should respect me for what I know and be thankful I am on here putting my opinion in there.
People are so lost today that they have to believe some man made theory to make themselves feel better about where they came from. I am perfectly fine believing I just appeared out of nowhere. I am fine believing there is an almighty God up there in the heavens that reigns over me and guides my steps revealing things to me through the power of the Holy Spirit.
As I have said to previous friends, don't come crying to me when you wake up.

I find it both endearing and strange that you finished that post with a god bless.

All that anyone is doing is defnding their beleifes, just as you are yours. Getting upset and slooging a big mess of psuedo insults will do nothing to settle whatever problem you have with people and the way they speak and question. I have no problem with you believing that you (of course meaning the first humans) appeared out of nowhere. I believe the same, though the creation part we differ.

Don't get all butt hurt because people are questioning your beliefs, think of it as them wanting to know, because thats exactly what it is. Some people just can't ask questions intelligently. Likewise, there is no stupid question, just a qestion asked stupidly. Just answer shit as best as you can and chill.
