Re: HEy, TEACHER!
you guys bate him he comes and you guys are jerks to hmi everytime. You know hwat he is going to say, and you ask for it. Then you give the same old tired arguments back and forth for wich there is no patatent answer that will make you happy. You follow your belief blindly believing science will not fail you and he follows his believeing God will not fail him. Tim esaid it well somewhere else "God" is why and "science" is how. I think thats how he put it.

Re: HEy, TEACHER!
Here's a question for Deadpool, Christian to fellow Christian. So by all mean's I am not taking sides.
Is it not at all possible to believe that evolution did occur, but through the eventual intentions of God? I do believe that evolution happened, but I think that there has to be a point at which it was initiated and that was through the work of God.

Re: HEy, TEACHER!
If your christian then its only a discussion topic not a belief topic. (im not answering for deadpool just me)
After I was saved I believed much as you do...now I believe in a young earth, (not millions of years old) for reasons that have been proven to me. from the bible, (i dont like hearing prove the bible without the bible, its sorta like saying prove pepsi is in that can without using the pepsi in the can) but I got much of my convinceing that evolution didn't happen from the bible.
Let me ask you this steve, You believe God created the earth and all the stuff he put in place to have evlutin happen, am I understanding that correctly. thanks.

That's kinda what I'm saying yes. But I also feel there are some elements of the bible and don't need to be taken as a literal point of view (or word for word). So I take the view that evolution could have happened but by the overall understanding from God.
Now I'm sure that's going to spark a whole new discussion, but bear in mind before someone decides to set me straight, I do believe in the word of god through the bible, but some elements of it to be taken figuratively.

Wrong. I work with PCs, I know full well science fails.
Point of it is, it doesn't just say "It is the will of Science, question it not!" and be done with it.

Re: HEy, TEACHER!
I would rather believe what I cannot fully explain. Not many are following that so I know it is right.
When it comes down to this evolution theory, it does not exist. Yes God created man, poof, just like that. Thus the purpose of Him being all powerful, He can do anything.
I do believe in old and new Earth. From my studies, I have learned that before satan's revolt against God, God granted him control over the old Earth. Earth quite possibly has been around for trillions of years, we don't know. But the young earth of the Bible is the reformation of the Earth and it's elements. So both theories are correct.

Re: HEy, TEACHER!
Steve...I can completely agree with you...its just as likely that god said poof as that god said poof to elements and chemicals and watched them evolve. The eye being a perfect example of design and creation, not something that could have evovled even charles darwin admitted that. I can't even start a new conversation on it because well i pretty much agree with you.

I never thought I'd hear a smart version of the young earth theory but Gosh darn it from the least expected place as well. You see this is the kind of theory I can like because it takes what we know to be reasonably sound scientific theories and then only adds interpretation on top of that.

Re: HEy, TEACHER!
Nin stop double posting. its annoying.
I myself don't 100% believe evolution. Nor do I beleive that god created the human race. I believe, I kid you not, that the one who created the humans was Satan, Lucifer, whatever name you have for him. I forsee issues.

Re: HEy, TEACHER!
Well, God is the overlord right? The guy with all of the power? I have asked elders in my chruch, as long as referred to many outsides written sources, and all if not most have agreed that Lucifer was essentialy God's little prodige. Another very common if not universal "fact" is that God banished Lucifer for beginning a revolt. He along with a lot of other angels were banished to earth. Everywhere I have read and heard say that God banished Lucifer BEFORE he ever created people. Who's to say he didn't just take the credit from Lucifer? Who's to say that God himself isn't the deceiver?
Point is, Lucifer had the power as well. He had the intelligentce, the wisdom, and anything else he needed to do it. In esscence he was god, only barely less powerful.
As a side not: Please keep in mind that this is merely my opinion on the matter, just as it is many to beleiev that God created humans and stuff. There is no proof that nytihng happened, so we all merely speculate.

Re: HEy, TEACHER!
It's a very plausible theory, I doubt many people would be able to come to terms with Lucifer being their creator.
But assuming you are correct, it would basically mean everyone is following the wrong deity. Interesting concept

Re: HEy, TEACHER!
People often get confused when I tell them that, most of the time they don't think i'm serious XD
Keep in mind I don't aim to disprove. Most people would think that's what I am doing, and it is not.
