that sucks no car... i think my favorite thing I ever got to do was learn to drive. I paid 2000 dollars when i was 18 to take stunt driving and offensive/defensive driving.. then got it all back when I got a job driving limos.. sweet too cause I can do all kinds of fun stuff in my car.. only good thing about snow is it makes it easy to drift lol...

Well, if you don't balance well on a bicycle, you won't a moped or scooter of any kind mate.
Four wheels is your best option. Do something about it. I am not going to feel bad for you, it isn't like you have to walk through desert heat.

I MOPED OR SCOOTER IS WAY DIFFERNT THAN A BIKE trust me. I ride mountain bikes and street bikes, and I own a motorcycle. When the vehicle is self propelled it is basically self balanced. The only time you need watch balance is on tight turns and as long as you accelerate and don't hit the breaks you will be just fine. I love my motorcycle...and that would be a Great alternative if you like them....

Just suck up the mass transit until you get the license sorted. It is a pain in the ass, but at least you have an alternative to the "shoe leather express".

Personally, if I were the Loopman, I would save for a vehicle. Scooters and mopeds really don't fare well in ice, snow, sub-zero temperatures. Kind of seasonal transportation.

true true.... I have my motorcycle.. but I also have my cars for the times when its not nice outside. plus mass transport isn't really common in America....only some of the major coastal cities really have good mass transport...

A place like mine, your business district is only 4 miles away, by foot, you could be there in about 15 minutes or less.
