RESIDENT EVIL
I have played the PS1 forums available and the first PS2 Game. If I decide to go E-BAY to purchase another... Which one? Is it beter to go in order or is there a preference with this game?

Does not compute.
Anyway, get a GameCube or a Wii, and Resi 4.

Re: RESIDENT EVIL
Ugh, don't listen to Lupus. (Gamecube and Wii?! Get out of the d*mn PS forum section now!)
The whole series is great; 1, 2, 3, and 4. Five come out sometime early 08.
I would suggest going in order, but that's just me, one of my favorite game/game series of all time. The second game is amazing, as well as 4th, my two favorite, but 1 and 3 are great too.
1,2, and 3 are for the PS1, and the 4th is for the PS2.

^Really don't know what your saying here, but if you own a PS2, I'd play all 4 in order.
Which games in the series have you played so far?

The Ninty versions are superior anyway.

Re: RESIDENT EVIL
I would play them all in order (of course you'd need a gamecube to play Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil remake) but it would be worth it. While Resident Evil 4 is on the PS2 it looks a bit iffy but if you don't care about that it's fine.
I would say Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica are the best in the series.

I should have used the word console, not forum, when referring to the PS1 play. Sorry about any confusion there.
On the PS1 I have played R.E. 1 and 2. As far as the PS2 goes, I have only played Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
I missed the 3rd game on PS1 apparently. Perhaps I will start with that and then go onward to the PS2.

Well Ruby, IMHO I had the most troubles with Resident Evil (GC) and Code Veronica, I've never finished either of the two. The other ones were fun. RE4 was the easiest cause it was a fast pased kick *** game (as will 5 be), but 1-3 were very entertaining cuz they required some thought which was nice. I like the new approach they've taken in RE 4-5, but I preferred the classic 1-3.
I really hope they redo 2-3 on the Wii like they did the original on GC.
So overall I'd say you've played the best ones so far.

Re: RESIDENT EVIL
first off...if other consoles are mentioned...so who cares?! not that big a deal...
and as for you S.R....anyone can call be biased seeing as how I'm a hardcore RE fan (judging from my s/n name first off, hehe) but I think most would agree...even if you are not completely up to date on all the games...first yeah i would recommend getting those you have not played...renting them at least and then trying them out...understanding the storyline a bit more...but overall...even if you dont do that...you cannot go wrong with Resident Evil 4...regardless of your knowledge of the storyline...that game will appeal to anyone who has not played all of the games before it...it is that good.
And on that note...I realize that some have had difficulty with what they call "tank like" controls with the other Resident Evils...it takes some getting used to believe me...but once you get used to it its like second nature...but once you play Resident Evil 4...forget about it...hell as hardcore a fan as I am...playing Resident Evil 4...beating that damn game numerous times...and then going back to the old ones....its just doesnt have the same flair as it used to. Resident Evil 4 will spoil you hehe...that game may very well make you forget about the other ones.

Re: RESIDENT EVIL
If you have a PS2 you should play dead aim
I played that game awhile back, it was pretty cool, probably not as good as RE 4 though I supose
anywho
Dead aim is my favourite because the game has a completely different feel from the other RE games.
you should atleast hire a copy and give it a try
if you are anything like me you won't be disappointed

Dead Aim was alright, not that good.
Not as good as the others.

Re: RESIDENT EVIL
hehe my bad sounded like you were serious...i apologize. and Dead Aim was pretty good for what it was...way better than Resident Evil Survivor...even though I kinda dig that game but many thought it was crappy. But what people dont understand is that they did the best they could with that type of game for the Playstation...I already knew it was going to be flawed....the acting is by far the worst in the series though...even worse than the first Resident Evil...worse than that "master of unlocking" crap

Gotta love the horrible acting and dialogue though.
Classic, resident evil awesomeness.
It's cool on that earlier post though mate.

Nah, it's not going to be on the PS2 mate.
Comes out in the first or second quarter of 08.

Sounds good to me.
The original resident Evil 0 was on n64 so you will eventually see it on Virtual console,
Resident Evil one was remade for the GC, As well as resident Evil 0,
The original versions of 2, 3, and code veronica were all ported to the gc,
And 4 was released on GC with better resolution. There was also a Wii edition. Now umbrella cronicles is on the wii, and this game basically sums up the entire series (With extra side missions from Weskers point of veiw).
To get all of the games your best bet is a GC if you want it cheap (Because of the wii the GC is outdated and you can buy it for 30$ or less)
I only enjoyed 2, 4, and Umbrella Chronicles (2 was my favorite)
