Today in Nintendo's E3 Press Conference a new title was announced for the wii, Wii fit. Wii fit is a game using the newly announced Balance Board, designed for this game, which concentrates on helping players keep fit. There are 40 mini games involved including yoga poses and musical exercise routines.
Personally I couldn't think of a game less appealing to me but the balance board technology could be put to good use in other games if they do choose to apply it.
First of all you shouldn't ressurect old threads, secondly I find this thing very dumb. It's not a game and it's not a fitness instrument. I've been loosing weight running 8kilometers per day and it's been working extremely well but what I hate the most about wii fit must be the way it treats you.

That will never motivate anybody to lose weight, saying your not too fat but lets go running? To make somebody run you need tough love, it should say something like
OMG!? You two on that damn bored? Run now you fatty!
that would motivate somebody more to run imo... but basically if you want to spend that much on a little bored why don't you buy yourself a damn helmet cause you can do all that for free with some motivation

Surprised that video is still on you tube since she is in her underwear. I did think about getting this game, but I feel I would lose interest too quickly, guess I will revisit the notion of buying it once I pass my boards and get a job.

The wii is all about Boom Blocks now, if you haven't played it, you should. Great multiplayer game, the wii's best so far, in my opinion.

Do people actually lose weight with stuff like wii fit? I prefer the old fashioned method of going to the gym. I guess those too lazy for this may prefer to use wii fit.

If the game is anything like Wii sports, it would probably be a lot of fun. I personally haven't got it; I'm just waiting for Sports resort. Looks like it will be a lot of fun for all my friends/family.
