Possible new Earth found

ScienceDaily: Astronomers Find First Habitable Earth-like Planet

A new planet has been discovered! It seems to be just like earth. yay!
I was walking back home from work to home yesterday and was thinking about this.

Now my question is:

1) What would you name the planet after?
2) If you could be the president of this planet, would you make any structure in life, industry on this planet?
3) Would you choose for only environement friendly products (electric cars, only paper pags, no gasoline, etc..etc..) on this planet, since our own earth is being devistated by ourselves with our machines, oil, nuclear waste, etc... ???

^^once they figure out a way to send a lead spaceship into space, then im sure they'll journey there. i say they should make an army of superspaceships, and send half the people of the earth over there to make it a new earth. of course it would take a veeeeeery long time, and would need a renewable energy source (The sun maybe?) and of course have farms and such to produce food. in theory it could really work, of course it would cost too much money to fathom

I haven't heard about the planet, but I did read about NASA sending a spacecraft launched aboard a rocket on Wednesday. It is the first mission to study mysterious clouds that float 50 miles above Earth. If this is a related story than we know so far that they have cloudy days on planet Blondi.

2) don't quite understand, if i were i charge i'd probably put all the peons into research, advance science like there's no tomorrow

3) most likely yes, but there are actions to counter said problems, with a little creativity...........

If the Lord was willing to allow us to go there I would name it: Aether.
President: I would figure more natural ways of industry.
I would allow only hydrogen cars. All homes would be made with brick. homes would be solar powered, with an energy crystal that is renewable.

I heard about this. Its great but it would take thousands and thousands of years to get there, its not even in our galaxy.

It would take 100s of thousands of years to develop that planet, think about it; all of the resources, evolution, exploring the whole planet, maping it, the technology and money, making a craft big enough to transport people, food, equipment and tools, it would have to be able to withstand the harsh conditions of traveling through millions of miles worth of space, it would have to be fast enough to get us there in a humans life time, and the amount of fuel you would need. It's really d*mn complicated.

it would be easier to terraform mars then go out that far (still take hundreds of years though :O), maybe one day..................... very far in the future, assuming humanity hasn't
1) died out
2) killed each and die out
3) found another planet that's easier to reach :p
